This album came out last year, but I love it. I recommend listening to "The Dusty Foot Philosopher" and "Smile." He was born in Somalia and grew up around a civil war, so he has some pretty deep things to rap about. For example, in the song "Smile," he writes, "War is no place for a child, especially if he's rollin' with an AK and a smile.." So, if you have a few minutes to spare for some good hip-hop, check K'naan out. I'm out.
