I know many of you 'fixers' out there were disappointed to see Eldrick not close the deal today on the PGA Tour. Tiger really struggled all day with the flat stick and looked like Wulfeck on the greens three putting from 30 feet. To help get over your depressing mood I thought Melissa Reid could do the trick. This honey from overseas is still new on the golf scene, but definitely has raw game and the looks to go with it. The 21 year old has won many amateur tournaments in her homeland of England and finished in the top 5 on the European LPGA Tour multiple times in 2008. Expect great things in the future from this blonde bombshell.
In other news, the Transylvania University Golf Team recently won their third straight HCAC Conference title this weekend at Aston Oaks Golf Club in Cincinnati, OH. Somehow the Pioneers were able to get over losing their stud golfer from years past, Alex Rechtin, and continue their dominance in the region. The conference title gives the school an automatic bid to the NCAA Div. III National Championships in Port St. Lucie, FL on May 13-16.
