Ladies and gentlemen get your boozin' shoes on and the custom threads pressed because it is once again that time of the year for Keeneland to open. I know myself with numerous amounts of ydf blogger's will be present for the opening weekend. I just wanted to throw out some important dates for this years session.
Friday April 3 - Opening day as well as College Scholarship Day. Turk is a reigning champ from last year. So if Turk can win anyone can win (even you May).
April 8 - 15 - Budweiser Clydesdale Sweepstakes. You can register to win a trip for two to the Anheuser Busch Brewery in St. Louis. Winners will get two night hotel accommodations, airfare and a VIP tour of the Anheuser Busch Brewery. The Clydesdale's will also be present during this time and will take a lap around the racetrack on the 18th.
Friday April 10 - The legendary Makers Mark bottle signing. All you UK football fans can go get your customized Makers bottles signed by none other than Coach Rich Brooks. The Bottles go on sale April 3rd, so make sure you stock up. I know I will
Friday April 17 - Jockey talent show. The jockeys along with kirn will be up on stage singing karaoke. Kirn is a 1-5 early morning favorite.
Saturday April 18 - THE YDF TAILGATE - ALL ARE WELCOME. more details on that are to come but it will be flowing with booze and will definitely be a great time for all.
Sunday April 19 - Military Day. Please come out and support our troops for everything they have done for our great country.
