i'm pretty sure this is not coming from the same people that said that...our source for this cannot be revealed for reasons that concern the source themselves, not us. I am not one that want to see BCG gone, but at the same time I hope we are right on this one, if not we look dumb as hell.
Also according to my contacts at KHSAA.. He was at the tourney all morning. Going to be tough one for me to swallow... I don't know why they would make this move right now.
death of a blog? last I checked they didn't shut down websites, newspapers, or even catspause.com whenever something has come to be true. So what if Billy ends up being retained, that makes anyone who has posted here lose credibility on everything? Have you seen the other post... they're opinions on music and pot... chill out, or go back on rivals and freak out a little more... i'll see you there
he would not be at the sweet 16 if he was no longer the coach at Kentucky. There is nobody there worth recruiting unless he is looking to fill Jared Carter's shoes. He is on a diplomacy mission to make nice with the state
who knows...this wasn't a post based upon facts. anyone who read it thoroughly (all 20 words), would see that it is based on word of mouth. although we were the first to say it, we aren't the only ones...http://new.kentuckysportsradio.com/?p=15853#comments
I honestly do not think that "BCG" has been fired today and I am confident that he will be back next year. But lets face it.. there are stories all over the state, sports illustrated, and even kentucky sports radio website about Billy Clyde getting the boot. Good work dalyfix on sparking up a stir... its got even more people thinking. To be honest, I myself am getting a kick out of some of these articles that are posted on this blog
Lambo, if it means anything I heard this news as of Tuesday afternoon with some of Lexington's finest. So if it's wrong, many on the insiders were incorrect on this one as well. But for all those who are going crazy that it isn't true, what do you expect them to do? Fire him before the NIT. Fire him after they win a game. Fire him while all of Kentucky's talent is at Rupp for the entire week. OF COURSE NOT! They wouldn't do anything until the Sweet 16 is over and the Cats season is over. Lastly, losing credibility of the blog? The only thing that need questioning are the sources. With that being said, you want a blog that has the earliest news from insider sources. If it were already true, a source would be noted and it would be everywhere. Wait til UK finishes their season and if he returns for another year than ppl can trash the post. I'd like to think Seth Davis and Alan Cutler are pretty credible public sources and they've both leaned towards Billy G being fired.
Did this come from the same people that said Billy Donovan was taking the job
ReplyDeletei hope not...

ReplyDeleteIf he were fired it would dominate the headlines. Plus, what, they are going to fire him with one game to go, and at the most 4 games to go?
ReplyDeleteCoach will be around for at least one more season.
I enjoyed the thought of BCG being fired
ReplyDeleteYourDalyfix.com made my day even if it is bogus
...but be right next time
