Due to the Grammys being on tonight I am sure all of the hype this week in the music world will be referring to the artists who take home a Grammy or two (or in "Waynes-World" possibly even 8) . But today I am here to introduce you to a group that has nothing to with the award show. The group is called the The Lonely Island and they are dropping their first album on Tuesday. This group of comedic filmakers consist of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone (they refer to themselves as The Dudes). The three members of The Lonely Island currently work as writers on Saturday Night Live. You may recognize them from the hilarious SNL digital shorts like "Lazy Sunday," "Dick In a Box," or even "Jizz In My Pants."
Their most recent SNL short as you can see is entitled "I'm on a Boat" which features T-Pain. It could possibly be one of the funniest rap videos I have ever seen.
Their first album Incredibad, is set to be released this Tuesday, February 10th. The track list includes:
