Top DMB Live Covers...

Great songs have been covered for decades and recorded in the studio. Some of the best cover's I've heard, however, come in the form of live shows. And David Matthews and the rest of his band (Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, Boyd Tinsley and Jeff Coffin) have put on some great live shows over the years. So for those of us who have gotten burnt out on Dave Matthews (definitely not Bret or Mike Stephens) and are tired of hearing his songs over and over, I have put together a list of some covers the band has performed over the years with the likes of Tim Reynolds, Warren Haynes, Emmylou Harris, and Trey Anastasio, to broaden your Dave Matthews Band horizons.

Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Again) - Sly and the Family Stone
All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix
Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel
Up on Cripple Creek - The Band
Time of the Season - The Zombies
The Maker - Daniel Lanois
Exodus - Bob Marley
Cortez, The Killer - Neil Young
Fire - Jimi Hendrix
Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix
Long Black Veil - Lefty Frizzell
Still Water - Daniel Lanois
Stir It Up - Bob Marley
Burning Down the House - Talking Heads
Bathtub Gin - Phish
Tell Me Something Good - Rufus & Chaka Khan
Hey Hey My My - Neil Young
A sample of Elvis' Can't Help Falling in Love in some live versions of The Stone

I also found two great songs most of you probably have not heard and cannot find them on youtube.
- Sugar Will
- Thing

Now don't be dumb, you know what to do.
